Sound & Lighting

Sound - to be turned on 5 minutes prior to opening

  1. Turn on bass and speakers switches in DJ booth - left hand side of the interior of the DJ booth. Lighting switches should not be turned on until DJ lights are turned on at opening

  2. For nights with no DJ:

    1. Ensure iPad is plugged into cord connected to the Mixer (the middle box between the CDJ’s)

    2. Power on the Mixer - power button located behind the Mixer - where cords plug in. CDJ’s should only be turn on by DJ’s

    3. Play Rocky’s playlist on Spotify

  3. Please ensure to turn off DJ sound and lighting switches in DJ booth as well as CDJ’s and Mixer immidiately after business is closed

  4. If sound is muffled/not sounding properly - troubleshoot by ensuring cord connected to iPad is plugged into the back of the Mixer outlets labeled “Line.” In the same row the cord is plugged into, ensure the knob is turned to “Line.” Cords should not be plugged into any other outlets and knob should not be turned to any other setting aside from “Line.” If issues persist, contact management/ownership.

Lighting - chandelier lights (located in powder room) should be dimmed down for operations. Lamps should also be turned on. Main cleaning lights should not be turned on during operations.

  1. Flip DJ light switches on. These light switches should only be turned on during operations and turned off immidiately at close.

  2. Turn the computer on

  3. Open the lighting program application located at the top left of the computer screen

  4. Click “File” on the top left hand corner of the application, and then click '‘Open”

  5. Double click the saved file

  6. Familiarize yourself with each different lighting and fog option by clicking on and off each square. Use slower light settings for early on and more/faster lighting as the night goes on.

  7. Please ensure to turn off DJ switches as well as equipment after business is closed
