Clock in 1 hour prior to business opening Each cash drawer being used for the night to have: Five 20's, Five 10's, Ten 5's and Fifty 1's Ensure employees are on time and have clocked in as their shift begins. Employees may not clock in prior to shift start time. Walk outside of property around sidewalks and the back alley - assign barbacks any cleaning Check that previous night's staff checklists have been completed; contact employees to fix any duties that have not been completed Check in (or have barback check in) any delivered inventory and instruct barback on where to stock Prepare for & execute quick shift meetings with each job group to: 1. Approve each employee is following their appearace guidelines and have appropriate accessories 2. At all times, be aware of sound, lighting, and temperature; adjust according to Music & Ambiance Guidelines and as needed Constantly be on the look out for any areas throughout the businesses that must be cleaned Listen to employees speak with customers and give employees feedback on their customer service Constantly check that all employees are following all rules & regulations, proper procedures, and checklists Ensure employees are not drinking Ensure employees going on break request your permission for their break, clock out for the break, and clock back in upon return from each break Ensure that all bartops, tables and booths are cleaned regularly. Each employee should always have work to cover; task out duties when employees are unsure of what to do next Ensure employees do not use phones; may request to use for emergencies or business purposes Correspond with Health Department, TABC, and Fire Marshall on any matters Ensure personal relationships with employees do not affect any management decisions Constantly check that all lights, TV's, AC's, music, and other electronics are working properly; fix any issues or take not for handyman to fix Notify security to escort out any overly aggressive guests Employees may be written-up for straying from our handbook's guidelines Ensure barbacks are checking restrooms and submitting restroom check form Check on door staff every 15-20 minutes Regulate lines in front to ensure proper capacity is being met Fill out incident reports for any circumstances that may involve the authorities (fights, underage incidents, etc.)
